I am passionate about sustainability and the power for change it can be in our lives. This blog is a forum for connecting with like-minded people, prompting thought and recording my experiences. We live during a very interesting time where more than ever before, sustainable innovations are needed to improve our quality of life, both now and into the future.
I am a New Zealander who has been based in Australia for over ten years. Australia is a country that is ripe with sustainability opportunities and challenges and I am enjoying my time here! I am a professional with over 15 years experience working in R&D, Agriculture, Manufacturing and Forestry sectors. I have completed a Master’s in Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management at Monash University which gave me a good grounding in Corporate Sustainability. I have recently commenced my PhD (yikes!) in innovation networks which will be undertaken with the good folk at Swinburne University in Melbourne.
I work at the CSIRO and must add that the information and opinions on this website are absolutely, positively my personal opinions only and they are not, in any way, CSIRO’s official position. With that official statement out of the way, I might also say that I am also a keen traveller, cyclist, mountain biker and tramper (that’s kiwi for bush walking) of the countryside.
